At 315 meters, the Steinhübel is the highest point in Dresden on the left bank of the Elbe. In good weather, visibility can be up to fifty kilometers. A direction and information board provides information about what we can see when looking out of Dresden: the Keulenberg in the north, the Valtenberg and the mountains of the Elbe Sandstone Mountains in the east, the table mountains of Zschirnstein and the Děčín Schneeberg in the southeast, the foothills of the Eastern Ore Mountains Wilisch and Luchberg, the Geisingberg, the Kahleberg area and the Tharandt forest in the south.
