If you are near the Tschiernock (mountain in Austria), make it to you. This is an experience, the nature and the view on the way let you forget all the hardships. Just beforehand on the descent, cows could be on the road. The panoramic road starting from Treffling is free for pedestrians and cyclists. From Treffling to the mountain hut there are about 855 vertical meters. In Treffling I can recommend one of the apartments 'Beim Kilzer'. Nice people, good decor, very good location. Next door is a church that ever rings, half so wild.
