The view is really great, but beware the trails are very bad signposted and partly not as paths to recognize. There are also plenty of cactus with very long thorns.

Huge panorama over La Caldera del Rey with the majestic Roque del Conde as a colossal background. An unauthorized path, unmarked, dangerous and neglected, but as great as any in the Canary Islands.
The natural monument La Caldera del Rey is, geologically speaking, the remnant of the explosion in a very liquid lava bubble.
With a significant diameter to accommodate extensive crops. In the last century, they artificially endowed their plantations with greater air flow by blowing up part of the peaks near the caldera to the northeast and widening a canyon to divert the air currents of the trade winds.

A great hike but quite difficult and not for one with problems with height. Wanted at one point to turn around but the terrain was too rough and steep so the only way was forward.
