The ferry

is a yaw ferry with cable pull

Technical specifications:
transport of up to 20 passengers; 2,380 t/m³ carrying capacity; 9.01 m long;
3.22 m wide; 1.00 m high; 7.8 t/m³ water displacement

it transports people, bicycles, handcarts, mopeds and pets

connects Schellsitz with Naumburg but primarily with the restaurant / excursion bar "Alter Felsenkeller"

the ferry service was restored in 1992 by the city of Naumburg after the connection had been closed for seventeen years

Ferry service has existed since around 1926
