The ELEGANT was built in 1889 as a Dutch cargo sailing ship. In 1994, the 38-meter-long clipper was converted into a charter ship for cruises on the North and Baltic Seas.
The EYE OF THE WIND was built in 1911 and motorized in 1926, and was temporarily used for driftnet fishing off Iceland. In 1978, she circumnavigated the world as a passenger ship and appeared in several films, including "The Blue Lagoon" and "Island of Pirates." Today, the sailing ship is chartered to individual travelers and tour groups and is sailed exclusively by hand.
