            The descent from the Gasthaus Hochwies to Tall/Obertall is very exciting and beautiful when the weather is good. You usually hike down in the afternoon and the sun is shining in a south/southwesterly direction. Sunburn guaranteed, and the best photo opportunities guaranteed.

                In Prenn, there's a large parking lot at the mid-station of the Hirzer cable car 🅿️. There's no parking fee. We drove there and hiked via Klammeben and the Almenweg to the Mahdalm.
