Villa Borgnis, also known as Kurhaus im Park, is an architectural gem in the spa park of Königstein im Taunus. It was originally built in 1860 in Swiss style as a summer residence for wealthy guests. The villa impresses with its elegant architecture and idyllic location in the heart of the spa park, which is itself a popular tourist destination.

Over the years, Villa Borgnis has seen various uses. Today it houses the registry office of the town of Königstein and is a preferred location for weddings and other festive occasions. The Frankfurt banker Matthias Franz Borgnis had the villa built in 1860 together with his wife Louise, a summer house in the then modern Swiss style.
The listed building now needs to be renovated and will close its restaurant from autumn 24. Duration approx. 2 years.
So in the coming summer months you can enjoy the restaurant with its terrace and varied cuisine to the full.
