                        The Woogtal Valley near Königstein is a real highlight for a short detour from the (admittedly quite tranquil) town of Königstein into the countryside.

                        The name "Woog" comes from the old word for "moving water" – and that's quite fitting, as the Woogbach stream flows leisurely through the valley, passing the pond and the mill wheel.

                        The Woogtalweiher pond is a perfect destination for a short walk and a short break. There are benches along the way where you can sit back and enjoy the surroundings. A great spot to relax and unwind!
