It is interesting that the water supply to the Birkensee has not yet been discovered. I like the island very much and there is also seating with a table for a picnic. Just take a seat and enjoy.

The Birkensee is the oldest and largest lake on the Schwanberg. As archaeological finds show, it was already laid out by the Celts in order to have enough water in the event of danger.
Among other things, swimming pondweed, blood-eye and grass snakes are at home here.
The water inflow has remained undiscovered to this day.
