The mausoleum at the end of the palace park is the burial place of the lords. The round temple is the resting place of the two lords of the castle, Count Alexander and his son from a second marriage, Radulf Graf zu Castell-Rüdenhausen, and the second wife Countess Margit Zedtwitz of Moraván and Duppau.

The mausoleum is a real eye-catcher with the cross on the dome.
Alexander Graf zu Castell-Rüdenhausen and his wife Margit Princess zur Lippe-Weissenfeld, née Countess of Zedtwitz-Moaván and Duppau, and the last owner of the Schwanberg, Radulf Graf zu Castell-Rüdenhausen, are buried there. A plaque is blank because he was not married.
The mausoleum was built in 1930 and 1932 by Hans Gröschel (Nuremberg sculptor).

He also erected the Hubertushirsch (bronze sculpture) in the palace gardens in 1921.
