Derrylahard East summit at 301m, offers high vistas for relatively little effort. The far-reaching views are especially rewarding following forestry clearance.
Immediately below are the meadows around Glan Lough. To the south, the iconic 12‑arched bridge at Ballydehob and Cape Clear Island on the horizon. To the north rolling hills and forestry reaches toward Bantry and the wider Beara region.
