There used to be moor here, but with the construction of a weir, the moor was gradually flooded; a retention basin was created - the small Helmuth-Schack-See. Over the years, a park developed around it, the edges of which merge smoothly into the Osdorfer Feldmark. Nice here. There is also an imaginative playground.

Bornpark, with its diverse recreational offerings, is the central green space
for the residents of the surrounding Osdorf residential areas. In addition to a large dog run, it also offers a beautiful playground, a toboggan hill,
a BMX track, and the "Kroonhorst" sports field. Furthermore, the expansive meadows are ideal for playing, kicking, and running around.
You can rent canoes at Helmuth-Schack-See.
When the weather is nice, the summer pool south of Bornpark in the Osdorfer Feldmark attracts visitors.
Once upon a time, there was a bathing pond on this site, known as the "Born."
