Málaga's Town Hall, also known as the "Casa Consistorial," is a landmark building in the city and the seat of the city administration. Before the current building was constructed, the city administration was located at various locations. Until 1869, the town hall was located at Plaza de la Constitución, after which it changed locations several times until the construction of a new building was finally decided upon.

Construction of the current town hall began in 1912 on reclaimed land near the harbor. The architects Fernando Guerrero Strachan and Manuel Rivera Vera designed the building in the neo-baroque style with modernist influences. It was officially inaugurated on April 11, 1919. Today, it not only serves as the municipal administration but is also an important symbol of Málaga's architectural and cultural development in the early 20th century.

The Town Hall of Málaga, also known as the Ayuntamiento de Málaga, is an impressive building in the city centre. It was built between 1912 and 1919 by the famous architect Fernando Guerrero Strachan and is an example of neo-Baroque architecture. The building is located on the Avenida de Cervantes, opposite the Paseo del Parque, and offers beautiful views of the Gibralfaro.
The Town Hall has three floors and is embellished with a richly decorated balcony, Ionic columns and a bell tower. The facade of the building is beautifully decorated with a magnificent frieze that depicts narrative scenes. On the side of the building are figures that refer to the sea, fishing and trade.
Behind the Town Hall is the beautiful rose garden of Pedro Luis Alonso, which houses more than seventy different varieties of roses. The gardens were designed by the same architect, Fernando Guerrero Strachan, and offer a peaceful place to relax in the heart of the city.
