St. Mary's Church in Dingle, Ireland, is a neo-Gothic church, the foundation stone of which was laid on 17 March 1862, designed by the renowned architect J.J. McCarthy. The original design consisted of a nave and aisles, separated by arcades supported by octagonal columns. In later years the church underwent extensive alterations, with the arcades being removed and the outer walls being demolished to below the original clerestory level, resulting in a significantly altered structure.
Adjacent to the church is An Díseart, a centre for Irish spirituality and culture, housed in the former convent of the Presentation Sisters. Established in 1996, the centre aims to promote research, courses and cultural activities in the field of Irish spirituality and Celtic culture.
