The open-air pool in Hengstforde has been a constant for summer leisure activities for many years.
The outdoor pool offers a number of attractions. Particularly noteworthy here are the 70 m long slide with a separate landing pool, the modern diving facility with a three- and one-metre board and a parent-child area that has been excellently accepted.
A kiosk takes care of the physical well-being of bathers. Food, drinks and ice cream are offered, which can be consumed on the sun terrace.

A beautiful sculpture that stands at Aper Tief...the sculpture is part of a series of sculptures that stand along the Hunter Cycle Path...more are being added all the time...but they are also in other places where there are attractions...just start cycling and take pictures of all the sculptures...it is a fantastic circuit that is created.

There you can see a dog in the bathtub.
Dogs are not allowed in the pool
the dog and his friend frog find that mean.
Now they protest playfully in front of the outdoor pool gate,
something like this only happens in the naturally livable municipality of Apen!
