Unveiling of the new Aper landmark: Knight Herbord is now decorating the market square in Apen

The 15th and last favorite place was officially inaugurated on Sunday

APE. Last weekend the time had finally come: The secret of the Secret Box at Aper Marktplatz was revealed and the 15th favorite place was unveiled by Mayor Matthias Huber and artist Jörg Ridderbusch. Many residents turned out on Sunday to watch the unveiling of the new sculpture. The festival tent team Apen Air GbR provided food and drinks, J. Rabenberg was there with his Berlin car and there was also coffee and cake as well as a large raffle from the local citizens' association Apen. The Secret Box, which initially covered the artwork, was part of the community youth care summer holiday project in cooperation with the KVHS-Ammerland - a great graffiti artwork adorned the Rathausmarkt for a few months.

Knight Herbord now decorates Apen's market square

pm Apen Apen's 15th and last favorite place was inaugurated on Sunday, October 24th. Many residents of the community came to reveal the secret of the Secret Box on the market square. The Secret Box, which initially covered the work of art, was part of the summer holiday project of the community youth welfare service in cooperation with the KVHS-Ammerland - a great graffiti work of art decorated the town hall market for a few months. Matthias Huber and artist Jörg Ridderbusch unveiled the last favorite place: the sculpture "Knight Herbord." At the unveiling, the knight was still missing the lance, which Jörg Ridderbusch had brought with him in the form of a small field forge with fire. Together with the children, the artist shaped the lance and together the group then attached it to the landmark. The marquee team Apen Air and J. Rabenberg provided food and drink.
