Alaró, with 5400 inhabitants, is located on the eastern foothills of the Tramuntana and can be reached on the Consell - Orient road. This mountainous and winding road leads through a very idyllic landscape. The center has retained its medieval character and invites you to take a tour. Alaró was the first village in Mallorca to have electricity. The power station was inaugurated on August 15, 1901. In the center, on Placa d'Ajuntament, the weekly market takes place every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Not far from the village is the Castell d’Alaró 824 meters above sea level. NN (with excellent panoramic view).
