Finally, a bit of sacrum in this ocean of profanum ;) The chapel, as always in Greece, is really climatic.
There are few places of this type in the area, which is a pity because it is the true spirit of Greece. Leave something commemorative (maybe not necessarily an inscription on the wall), because it's a great tradition.
Ps. In general, this combination of the sacred and the profane is terribly interesting. Here's a kitschy cameo and stands selling tours, and here's a religious baby forgotten by almost everyone.
