The really good, but not very cheap Hotel Kranich, is right on the lake and I can recommend it without a doubt.

The Hotel Kranich has been beautifully renovated and the summer garden and the terrace are very well done and fit harmoniously into the ancient building. The food can be seen (and tasted), and the service is very friendly and accommodating. As Mapf has already written, the prices are not without, but the quality is correct. The most beautiful place is IMHO in the dining room left behind the round table in the tower.
The location is of course ideal, since the landing stages of the ships are located directly at the hotel.
So for me that is a clear recommendation.
I can not say anything about the hotel business itself. Do not know the rooms ...
Before the construction of the Bleilochtalsperre (construction early 1930s) the building enthroned high on the mountain. Have a photo attached.
