In 1837, the new town hall with a vaulted cellar and two heated prison cells was built on the site of the former wine press building. The oldest town hall still stands today at Mühlstrasse 1. According to archive records, the move into the town hall, whose interior was kept simple, was not accompanied by any official celebrations. Instead, according to the source, the commissioning of a new oven in the community bakery was inaugurated with greater enthusiasm. In 1984/85, the town hall was renovated and an extension was completed. In 2017, another administration building was added.
The inauguration of the Citizens' Hall took place on October 7, 1950. The Citizens' Hall is used multifunctionally by local clubs, the fire department, the German Red Cross and also for all kinds of events. School sports and dance concerts were once held in the Citizens' Hall. There used to be a cider press in the basement.
