The tower of the old St. Michael's Church looks a bit strange on the square with its white buildings. The disappeared church was a sober classicist building with three naves of four bays under one gable roof and a three-sided choir. The built-in west tower dates from 1764. It was built in brick; the cornerstones and the base are made of sandstone. The monument was restored and equipped with four illuminated hands. The bells are operated from the new church.

The Old St. Michael's Church is a former church building in the Flemish Brabant town of Keerbergen, located on the Gemeenteplein.
Certainly in the 13th century there was already a parish in Keerbergen that was partly dependent on the Abbey of Grimbergen. The church was located on the Kerkebergen, along the Dyle. A church in classicist style was built at the end of the 18th century. It was a three-aisled building with a built-in west tower and a closed choir on three sides. This church was demolished in 1972. Only the tower was preserved. It is a flat brick tower with natural stone corner bands and a narrowed needle spire.
The New St. Michael's Church was built on the other side of the Gemeenteplein.
