In the harbor are many excursion boats (day trips to Symi, to Lindos and swimming tours along the east coast) and yachts and sailboats from around the world.
We recommend a walk along the excursion boats and on the 400-meter-long pier, on which there are three windmills. At the end of the jetty stands the small fortress of Agios Nikolaos from the 15th century (the three windmills are about the same age). To the left and right of the harbor entrance stand on columns a deer and a doe, the heraldic animals of the island of Rhodes.
