The Bühlheim grandmother is an ancient cult stone from the megalith. From 1707 it was used as a boundary stone between the properties of the Prince Bishop of Paderborn and those of the Hardehausen monastery.

The menhir is a boundary stone that was supposed to delimit the area between the Hardehausen monastery and Paderborn. It was erected on purpose and with a lot of imagination shows a grandmother with her arms crossed. It is unclear whether it has always been at this point or whether it was brought here as a boundary stone and possibly previously served Saxon cult purposes, as was the case with many boulders in the region.
