From the lookout point on the eastern edge of the Karlsschanze, you can reach the “Lazy Hunter” in just a few minutes on a narrow, overgrown rock path: a sandstone block 6 meters high and 24 meters in circumference.
The unusual shape of the rock has inspired many myths and legends. According to popular belief, this block is an old Saxon sacrificial stone.
