The 1903 house, designed by architect Pauls Mandelštams, is a real eye-catcher in Riga's Old Town. With its colorful facades and ornate details, it stands out from the surrounding buildings and tells of a different time when Riga was aspiring and characterized by architectural vision. The elegant combination of brick and plaster, decorated with gold accents, gives the building a special aura that you can hardly miss as you walk past.

What particularly caught my eye is the interesting entrance with its curved shapes and floral ornaments - a small detail that reveals a lot about the style of that time. The house, originally built as a tenement with shops on the ground floor, clearly bears the stamp of the Art Nouveau that is so present in Riga.

Interestingly, the building was reconstructed in 1983, which gives it a fresh and well-kept look despite its age. For those interested in architecture, this is a wonderful example of the interplay of functionality and artistic standards in an urban context.
