Loburg Castle is a moated castle near Ostbevern in the Münsterland. Loburg Castle was first mentioned in a document in 1294. In the 15th century it was expanded to include a partial fortification and in 1760 it was converted into a baroque pleasure palace. Today the castle, which was rebuilt in the neo-baroque style after a fire in 1900, houses a school and boarding school. The castle is surrounded by the Loburg Park with its rhododendron complex, and the Loburg Way of the Cross leads through the adjacent forest.

Loburg Castle is a moated castle near Ostbevern in Münsterland. Loburg Castle was first documented in 1294. In the 15th century, there was an extension to a partial fortification and in 1760 it was rebuilt according to the plans of Johann Conrad Schlaun into a baroque pleasure palace. Today, after a fire rebuilt in neo-baroque style in 1900, the castle houses a school and boarding school. The castle is surrounded by the Loburger Park with its rhododendron plant, through the adjacent forest leads the Loburger Kreuzweg.
