A beautiful, somewhat winding path takes you here from the Hoeledensebaan to the Hanenstraat. It is not very long but takes you over the Velpe and a beautifully managed piece of Velpevallei nature. At the Hoeledensbaan you will also find an information board about the Velpevallei. The grazers that you find here are also mentioned and with a bit of luck you will certainly come across one. These are Iceland horses. You will find a beautiful specimen among the photos above. The path is raised and you will see a nice alternation of wet and dry nature, including swampy parts such as those found in valleys. Horse lovers will certainly get their money's worth here because between the Hoeledensebaan and the Velpen it is also one and all horse from the nearby farm. Along the path there is also a bench for those who want to let that beauty sink in for a while.
