The Dom Luís I bridge is located in the heart of Porto and is one of the city's six bridges. It connects the busy old town district of Ribeira with the municipality of Vila Nova de Gaia, which is best known for its many port wine distilleries.

From the bridge, a breathtaking view of the beauty of Porto opens up: the Douro River with its colorful boats, the multi-story levels of the old town and Porto's traditional port wine warehouses.
