The whole mountain is full of golden yellow tulips that grow between the vines.
They are relics from an earlier time.
The tulips can be viewed very well from the path. You don't necessarily have to walk between the vines and trample the tender plants.

The steep ascent to the 246 m high Petersberg from Gau-Odernheim is also called Herrgottspfad, as processions have been taking place here on religious holidays for centuries.
