The church, built of rubble stone, consists of the western bell tower, the nave with three square bays, the transept, and the straight-ended chancel to the east. The nave, transept, and chancel are covered with gable roofs. The top story of the tower features round-arched sound openings housing the clock faces. Two church bells, cast in 1949 by the Bochum Steelworks, hang in the belfry. The tower was topped with an octagonal spire in 1958; its original roof was destroyed in World War II. An arched frieze runs along the north side below the eaves. The round-arched portal with engaged columns is also located on the north side. In addition to the arched windows of the church, there are two-light tracery windows on the south side of the chancel. The interior is spanned by domed vaults supported by buttresses. The galleries are located in the west and in the transept arms.
