The home boat of the Marine Club Neuss 1895 e. V. was completed in 1944 at the Abeking & Rasmussen shipyard in Bremen-Lemwerder with the construction number 3768 and was given the identification "R 146" at the 8th Räumbootflotille in Frederikshaven. After the Second World War, it served from 1945 to 1947 as a sweeper boat under the registration -146- with the Allies (GMSA = German Mine Sweeping Administration). From 1948 - 1951 service with the mine clearance association Cuxhaven again with the registration "R 146". From 1951 - 1956 service at the LSU/B (Labor Service Unit/Baker) in Wilhelmshaven with the identification "UNS 146". On June 30, 1956, the ship was put into service as Jupiter "-JU-" with the newly founded German Navy.

With the identification "M 1065", the boat was assigned to NATO on April 1, 1957. On February 20, 1959, it was converted into a school boat and put back into operation on May 15, 1959 for the Naval Locating School in Bremerhaven as "OT 1". On September 15th, 1967 the decommissioning took place and on November 17th, 1969 in Wilhelmshaven the Marine-Verein Neuss 1895 e. V. handed over. On December 14, 1969, after an adventurous transfer by the river pioneers from Krefeld, it arrived in the Neuss rafting port. On October 3rd, 1970, just under nine months, it was christened "Pulchra Nussia" by the wife of the then Mayor of Neuss, Herbert Karrenberg, in the presence of the then Inspector of the German Navy, Admiral Zenker .
