"House of Johan van Rossem" in Zaltbommel. Remains of the city palace of Johan van Rossem, brother of Marshal Marten van Rossem, dating from the third quarter of the 16th century. The building, surrounded by an extensive garden, consists of the ground floor of part of the former city palace and has two checkered and profiled relief arches on cups above the windows, while the protruding heads of a woman and a man are arranged in the arch fields. Above a profiled water frame with a sculpted cup in the middle. Door frame with recessed pilasters and entablature, 18th century. Above a coat of arms with helmet crown and praise, flanked by two herms. The garden is separated from the Kerkplein by an elongated wall, in which a brick gate with Doric pilasters and wooden entablatures, first half of the 19th century.
