Vertellstohl: Lustereck
Location: beach area in Eckwarderhörne

Sunken villages, huge container ships, rural coastal idyll. All of this can be seen and guessed at at the tip of the Eckwarderhörne coast. This special contrast between the village homeland and the global action center of the Jade-Weser-Port in Wilhelmshaven across the way are interesting contrasts that come together here in one place. World heritage in direct contrast to international trade. Rural area in the face of a lively city, separated and connected by the Jade Bay (Source: butjadingen.de)
This is one of 4 hearing chairs in Butjadingen. There are others in Waddens, Fedderwardersiel and Stollhamm. These were created by the regional artists Bärbel Deharde and Ute Extra. The citizens of Butjadingen were included. Project manager was Gerhard Bruns.
