Important to note:

The Eckwarderhörne-Wilhelmshaven ferry
does not run all year round, only on a few days a month and only for a few months in the summer at fixed times. When planning trips to Wilhelmshaven using this ferry, be sure to read the small print on the ferry schedule on the ferry operator's website beforehand! Otherwise you will arrive there and be very disappointed.

These old bridge piers come from the old ferry pier and were probably used until 1953. But there are also voices that say that the origins of the pillars go back to the times of the emperor. Sounds exciting and therefore a highlight of its own in my opinion.
