The church does not look young. It stands majestically next to the Froschfelsen on the hill towards Affalterthal and overlooks almost the entire village. It was only shortly after the end of the Second World War and the beginning of the currency reform that the plan to build a church matured. Four years later, in 1952, it was finished. It is called the Reformation Memorial Church (in memory of Luther's Reformation) and has served as a place of worship for Protestant Christians in and around Bieberbach ever since.
