The Kontorhaus Elbhof, Steinhöft 9, on the Baumwall in the Hamburger Neustadt, was built in 1904-1905 to plans by the architect Walter Martens for the AEG.
Herrengrabenfleet and road limit the property, so that delivery of goods by land and water was possible. With the front building, the courtyard wing and the Speicher am Fleet, the structure follows the pattern of the Althamburg merchant's house. The opulent staircase and the façade with its bronze sculptures by the sculptor Arthur Bock over the entrance portals, crowned by the Hamburg Wappenburg, fulfilled prestigious expectations.

The historic office building directly on the Fleet offers an imaginative and inexpensive lunch table.
The column-decorated room offers plenty of space for eating and drinking and the large bar is an attractive place for lively conversations. On nice days, guests can enjoy the sun on the outside terrace in the courtyard with a cup of coffee and a piece of cake. The bistro menu offers a wide range of delicious snacks and daily changing lunch dishes.
