Tromsø is the largest and most important city in Northern Norway due to its geographical location and number of inhabitants (around 77,500). Almost everything in this city is a record in itself: the northernmost 👨‍🎓👩🏼‍🎓 university, the northernmost 🍻 brewery (Mack), the northernmost ⛪️ cathedral, etc. The city is located on the island of Tromsøya in Tromsø Sound, the city area is 2,558 square kilometers, more than any other city in Norway.
