The port of Tromsø (Norwegian: Tromsø havn) is the largest port in Northern Norway. It is considered a transport hub for the Arctic region and is operated by Tromsø Havn KF, which in turn belongs to Tromsø Municipality. In Port Tromso you can watch the hustle and bustle in Norway's largest fishing and cruise port. The total length of its quays is over two km. In addition to cruise ships and freighters, the traditional Hurtigruten ships dock in the port of Tromsø on their journey north. The mail ships travel from Bergen, via Alesund and Geiranger, to Kirkenes.
