The beautiful half-timbered house is located right next to the town hall. You should definitely take a look at the inner courtyard between the two houses. From there you can get to other old half-timbered houses, such as the old Latin school.

The Hornmoldhaus town museum is named after its builder Sebastian Hornmold (1500-1581) and has housed the town history collection of the town of Bietigheim-Bissingen since 1989.
Objects are exhibited, collected and researched here that make the past of the city of Bietigheim-Bissingen and its surroundings tangible. These include finds from the Stone Age, Roman and Alemannic settlements and from the Middle Ages. Exhibits from the 16th century illustrate Bietigheim's heyday, when Sebastian Hornmold worked as town clerk and bailiff. Its half-timbered house, built in 1535/36 with magnificent paintings, is unique for this era.
