The Vía Verde del Tajuña was one of the first itineraries included in the network of greenways, a classic cyclist and hiker in the province of Madrid. The route begins at the old Ambite station, where the conditioning pavement from Arganda del Rey ends. The original route of the railway continues through the region of La Alcarria to the Entrepeñas reservoir, in Guadalajara.
