The Henri IV gate is a monumental gate which dates from the 17th century. The gate leads to the Sous-Murs district, where you can see the old tanneries and the city's defensive walls. The gate itself has a niche with a statue of the Virgin and Child, and was once adorned with a statue of King Henry IV riding Pegasus. You can also admire the view of the surrounding countryside from the gate, which is located on a steep slope.
