A tradi at an open refuge. The cache is not accessible by car. From the proposed car park to the cabin, the distance is pretty much 1km.

The Curt-Brand-Hütte was rebuilt in 2009.
The previous hut at this point was already built in the 1970s, at that time still under the name "Hut am Katzenbacher path". However, the ravages of time had gnawed so hard at the simple forest hut that a new building was inevitable. In 1981, one year before the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Odenwald Club, the Eberbach district asked to dedicate the hut to its honorary chairman Curt Brand. One year later, this wish came true. Brand was born in 1904 in Hockenheim and died on April 6, 1984 at the age of 80 years in Eberbach. He was a member of the OWK from 1927 until his death.

The cache is not in or directly at the cottage. In the summer, the last meters could be intensely overgrown.
