Steigvilii mill was built in 1891. On the initiative of Jonas Beinaravičius (1832 - ?), a luminary from the village of Steigvilii. It is because of the owner's surname that the mill is still called "Beinor's mill". The Beinoravičius family is written in golden letters in the history of the village - John's son Juozapas Beinaravičius - Beinoras (1870-1941) distributed the banned press during the press ban and belonged to the booksellers' society of Motiejaus Čepas (1866-1962) from Belt. He had established a secret school in his house, where his son Kazys and daughter Teodora taught the basics of writing and religion. Classically constructed, the octagonal mill was built and designed by Bredikis, a craftsman hired from Latvia. The new building was built next to the Beinoravičius homestead, which was far from the village, on the other side of the road.
