The Apothekerturm in Heldburg, a town in the district of Hildburghausen in the extreme south of Thuringia, was built as part of the town fortifications in the 16th century. The round tower on the eastern outskirts of the city is a protected cultural monument.

The tower got its name from the pharmacist Ludwig Hoffmann, who bought it in 1852 and had it rebuilt.
The tower, with a ground floor and two upper floors, still has the medieval cornice and the stone consoles for the battlements. The cupola, which originally did not belong to the tower, is covered with slabs of slate. It comes from the castle in Hellingen, which was partially demolished in the early 1870s, where Hoffmann bought it to have it placed on his tower true to the original.
