This lake is a reservoir and, depending on requirements, the level is high or low. All around there are many beautiful hiking trails with lots of nature. It is used for electricity production. A parking lot directly on the lake is ideal for hiking trips etc.

The mountain lake Engolasters is fish waters, so bathing is unfortunately prohibited, surrounded by a dense pine forest, and a popular destination for tourists and leisure / recreation area for locals as with the annual fishing competition.

Parking lot on one side, restaurant (s) on the other, in between several circular hiking trails on different levels; the path right by the water is sometimes flooded depending on the fill level of the lake.
