The “7 poets” are a composition of sculptures - flying above the ground, placed in the front yard of the Commune administration building. They represent the seven parishes of Andorra and are an essential example of the importance of public art in this little country in the Pyrenees. Those flying statues are even more attractive at night when they are illuminated.

Jaume Plensa's work in Plaça Lídia Armengol consists of 7 large-scale fiberglass sculptures.

According to Plensa, the ensemble represents the community of poets scattered all over the world - other Plensa poets are based, for example, in Bamberg (Germany), Nice (France), Gothenburg (Sweden) and Buffalo (US state of New York) - and the connection they maintain. The color changes stand for the "silent dialogue" that exists between them and also with the audience, who with the work "has an excuse to look up to heaven again".

During the 2014 inauguration, Plensa said:
“Poets are an important part of society. They are doomed because they know they won't even sell three books, but they are a source of fertility, like a very fine rain permeating the earth. For me, this long process, as if they were farmers, has a lot of value."

In addition, the work also symbolizes the 7 Andorran municipalities.
