Endless meadows, fields and forest edges, spiced up with unique natural jewels such as the Rodder Maar or the Hohe Acht. On the other side of the Rhine, the Eifelleiter adventure begins and culminates in a dance on the volcano. The Eifel Ladder, one of the ten most popular long-distance hiking trails in Germany, takes hikers on an extraordinary hiking experience between a wide variety of landscapes.
53 kilometers and an impressive 1439 meters of elevation gain to overcome - fortunately the Eifel Ladder is also available in portions, divided into three wonderful daily stages, on which hikers can escape everyday life for a few hours. If you can't get enough of the Eifel Ladder, the premium circular trails Vinxtbachtal and Breisiger Ländchen offer further natural hiking highlights in the middle of the unique Eifel landscape."
