The Square Claude Charpentier is an ideal place for a short break at the top of the Butte Montmartre, where you can enjoy some relaxing moments and explore the small green area. This square is a tribute to the musician and architect Claude Charpentier, who played an important role in the development of the Maltaux law and provided protection to several areas in Paris. The striking water tower, built in 1927, is the main attraction of the park. This tower draws its water from the spring water reservoirs in Montmartre. With its surrounding lush green lawn, the tower is a photogenic sight and has inspired painters for centuries.
