The Görslower Ufer nature reserve is a ten-kilometer-long, narrow section of the shore on the eastern shore of Lake Schwerin in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania between the towns of Raben Steinfeld and Leezen. In addition to the shoreline, the adjacent steep slopes are protected. The protection took place on March 22, 1982 and covers an area of 51 hectares.
The nature reserve is almost congruent with the FFH area of the same name.
The use as a local recreation area or nature experience area is characteristic of the Görslower Ufer.

The area is already covered with forest on Wiebeking's maps. Due to the extreme hillside location of the forests, only single tree removal was possible. A historical use as a Hutewald is also conceivable, which is currently indicated by the old oaks. Treatment measures are only carried out for the purpose of keeping the hiking trails accessible, to secure the habitats there and to protect and promote special species. This is done in accordance with Natura 2000 (woodruff beech forest; "Schweriner Seen" bird sanctuary) and the regulations for the nature reserve.

Flora and fauna:
The area is almost entirely forested. Due to the changing microclimatic conditions, it is equipped with a wide variety of habitats, which also results in a high diversity of woody and herbaceous vegetation. In addition to red beech and oak there are u. a. Maple (sycamore, Norway and field maple), linden, hornbeam, wild cherry, aspen, crab apple and wild pear, elm and a variety of shrubs. In the moorland areas of the bank you can also find the typical red alder, common ash and hazelnut. Other rare species of wood, such as B. European black poplar, snowball or spindle tree are admixed locally. The forest consists of mostly old trees that are beginning to rejuvenate naturally. In the herb layer there are the liverworts, which are particularly typical and conspicuous for the area in early spring with their blue flowers, and occasionally also winter horsetail, broad-leaved sitters and male orchids.
The shore areas are the habitat of the otter.
Notable occurrences from the bird world are
Kingfisher, Red-backed Shrike, Pied Flycatcher, Tawny Owl, Sandpiper, Black and Green Woodpecker and Dipper.
