On the other side of the main street at the beginning of Untere Torgasse there is a second, older coat of arms stone on a profile console. He refers to the Würzburg Prince-Bishop Rudolf II von Scherenberg (reigned 1466-1495). His coat of arms is quartered, field 1: "Franconian rake" = divided by red and silver with three ascending points, Duchy of Franconia, fields 2 and 3: in gold a pair of red scissors opened upwards, von Scherenberg, field 4: "Rennfähnlein" = in blue a red and silver quartered slanted standard with a golden shaft, Würzburg Monastery. The inscription below the coat of arms has been lost. A second, gable-shaped spolia with a fan rosette is walled up above it, which does not match the Scherenberg coat of arms, which can be dated to 1490, due to the stamped year 1607 and the initials "V M L W". Shortly after Bishop Rudolf's reign, almost the entire city burned down in 1496. (World of Wappen.de)
